This project explores a user-friendly way for crypto users (both experienced and new) to seamlessly integrate Bitcoin into everyday purchases, like buying a coffee for a friend. Security and ease of use are paramount.
I was tasked to handle the design of some of these features :"SATS Card" & "Sherpa and dependent" flows with some UI redesign. Making sure to implement the features into the existing app without breaking the current user flow
Understanding our product users
The Product had two generic users:
A) Pre-coiner Pam: Being new to the field, she first wants to test out the wallet and educate herself about bitcoin.
B) New-coiner Neeraj: He has played some bitcoin thus far, but wants to use them in new ways.

New Features:
- Create a new tab “Gift tabs” for sending sats to family and friends & Implementing sats card flow.
-Implementing a new feature for family and friends , the “Sherpa” feature, recovery made easy with a friend’s assistance.

This feature was a very interesting one, a Sherpa guides are people who guide people up the mountain Himalayas ; and the word, Sherpa, what they call themselves, their name.
The aim of the sherpa feature is like a bitcoin guardian that helps a fellow user protect their wallet by having access to their backup and monitoring of their transactions.

"Implementing this new features to attract new users and enhance user retention, resulting in 15% increase in our user base. By introducing a new feature, I drove higher user engagement, with active usage rates."
From this experience, I improved my ability to design and execute user acquisition strategies, learned to effectively introduce and promote new features, and enhanced my skills in driving user engagement and retention.
