The challenge was tradition with innovation. We had to bridge the gap between established construction workflows and a cutting-edge AI tool.
This meant encouraging user adoption among a workforce that might not be accustomed to advanced technology, ensuring smooth integration with existing software and data collection methods, and building an adaptable tool that can handle the diverse project sizes and worker skill levels found on construction sites. All this, of course, with the concern of prioritizing the safety protocols already in place.
Given our target audience; predominantly individuals from the Boomer generation, it's essential to acknowledge their preferences for a straightforward and expedited processes.
Boomers often seek efficiency and ease in their interactions, favoring approaches that minimize complexities and facilitate swift completion of tasks, so I had a specific focus on enhancing the CTAs. The goal was to ensure clarity in button designs, making them more user-friendly and instantly actionable for our users.
